Facial 'enhancements' w. my beard shape?
I am trying to "enhance" my appearance. I am able to grow a full (size) beard. My face shape is "oblong" as I do keep a full-size moustache growing above my lip.
Since Christmas-time, I have grown my beard (I was a local Santa Claus again this year) to medium-long length.
The overall appearence that all this fur is causing is to make me (as my friends tell me) look like the Iraqui dictator, Osama Bin laden.
What / how / what trimming style should I try to use for my beard this year? And how / if should I try to make my face shape look l-o-n-g-e-r?
My barber advises me that a l-o-n-g-e-r shaped face makes me look more "dignified."
I had tried trimming my beard really short as this makes me look like a youngster!
Also, I am growing the hair on my head for a LOCKS-OF-LOVE org donation, when it grows over 10 inches long.
Try an elongated oval shape, that should do the trick. (The "Jesus" beard shape). That should lend you a dignified countenance.
