Powerthin Phase II

When purchasing any weight loss product, it is important to do your research. Many people are exchanging their opinions about PowerThin on DietBlogTalk.com

For an additional source, check out PowerThin on the very popular Sensational.com

Overview

PowerThin promises fast weight loss, but the ingredients it uses to promote this weight loss are potentially hazardous in combination. By this point in the game, consumers should be used to supplement companies offering potentially detrimental products for fast weight loss and appetite suppression. But just because we’re used to it doesn’t mean it’s right.

In short, PowerThin replicates the mistake of so many dietary supplement manufacturers in that it combines otherwise legitimate ingredients to form an unsuitable weight loss cocktail.

Ingredients at a Glance

PowerThin contains Advantra Z®, Caffeine, Green Tea, Cocoa Seed, Maca, Yerba Mate, Quercetin, Vinpocetine, Yohimbine HCL, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Ginger Root, Guggulipid, L-Tyrosine, and White Willow Bark.

Ingredients in Focus

The potentially dangerous combination comes when Advantra Z® is mixed with Caffeine. In PowerThin, Caffeine, Green Tea, and Yerba Mate round out this stimulating but troubling combination. The Synephrine in Advantra Z®, which is known for safe metabolism boosting, should not be mixed with other stimulants. That PowerThin does this would seem to indicate a certain shortsightedness on the manufacturer’s part.

The other ingredients in the supplement are sort of canceled out by this formulation. Beneficial ingredients like Quercetin, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Ginger Root, and L-Tyrosine are lost in PowerThin. And White Willow Bark, a type of natural aspirin, simply confirms our suspicions about PowerThin. Along with Caffeine and Advantra Z®, the White Willow forms a conventional “stack” that’s associated with the more dangerous types of weight loss supplements. In short, PowerThin should be considered cautiously, if it’s considered at all.

Pregnant or nursing women should not take PowerThin or any other supplement with these combinations. Those taking medication already should consult a physician.

Positives

•    None.

Negatives

•    Potentially hazardous ingredients formula.

•    Overblown weight loss promises.

•    Second-rate website.

Final Thoughts

PowerThin may indeed enhance fat-burning and weight loss. However, it doesn’t seem able to do so in the healthiest manner. We would recommend shopping for a safer fat burner and appetite suppressant. One that uses Advantra-Z® as the lone fat burner would be perfect. When combined with regular exercise and a sensible diet, such a supplement could really contribute to lasting weight loss and healthy living.
