Mens hairstyles, womens answers please, no white lies?

I'm a pretty vein guy, I used to have shoulder length blonde hair but it gets pretty annoying in the summer when you're out doing extreme sports like windsurfing, so i cut it short last year.
I used to use straighteners when my hair was long because its semi wavy and i can't cope with that for some reason.

The point is, when your looking for a guy what do you pay more attention to, do you beleive that hairstyles can really reflect the look of a guy? Women ive been with have commented on my hairstyle looking cool, but I just beleive they were white lies to keep me content with them, so should i be bothered to prepare my hair anyway? and whats the best style you'd say on a blonde hair blue eyed guy

first of all, clean hair please. Nothing worse than dandruff and greasy hair.
You have good hair, so a smart shortish style which doesn't flop over the eyes.
Please don't be tempted to have one of these skin-head looks and get it all shaved off ... awful! Makes everyone look like thugs!
Frankly, I like clean shortish hair. If you colour it, then make sure there's no roots showing.
I don't see one's hairstyle as the main attraction but it is all part of one's general appearance. What does it for me is CLEAN. Clean hair, shoes, shirt, jacket, whatever ... that's the first thing I look for in a man. Then I know that, if he's taking care of himself, that he has plenty of time and energy to take care of ME!
